Philippe Jeanty, MD, PhD, Radiologist Clinic Medical Director
Dr. Jeanty received his MD from Free University of Brussels in Brussels Belgium in 1978 with the Highest Honors. He received his PhD in Radiological Sciences on the subject of Fetal Biometry from Free University of Brussels in 1985. The material covered in the PhD is used world-wide in ultrasound machines. Dr Jeanty is Board Certified with both Belgian Certification and with The American Board of Radiology since 1982 and 1985 respectively. Dr Jeanty has been a Resident, Fellow, Assistant Professor, Consultant and Associate Professor at Yale University and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He was the former Director of Ultrasound at Women’s Health Alliance and is now serving as the Medical Director and Director of Ultrasound at Inner Vision Women’s Ultrasound. Dr. Jeanty has authored and co-authored several textbooks and numerous publications. He has been a contributor to many scientific articles and participated in many peer review publications. He also serves as an expert witness on key cases. Dr. Jeanty is the founder and editor of TheFetus.net. In addition, he serves in a consulting capacity for most Ultrasound manufacturers (Philips, Toshiba, Siemens, ALI, Acuson and GE). Dr. Jeanty was born in Kinshasa, Zaire. Dr. Jeanty is married and has three children.
Ana M Bircher, MD, Medical Geneticist
Dr Bircher received her MD from National University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1982. She also completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Buenos Aires. Ana graduated from the Perinatology Sonologist program at the Municipal School of Ultrasound in Buenos Aires, Argentina and from the Pediatric Sonologist program in Latino America Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. She graduated in ARDMS, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Dr. Bircher completed her ECFMG Certification in 2004 and subsequently her Residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Medical Genetics in Nashville, TN. She has been Board Certified in Medical Genetics since 2007. Ana was born in Argentina and has one daughter.
